2023

For the second time in a row, RAPA is pleased to be recognized as Top100 Innovator 2023. The award is only given to particularly innovative medium-sized companies. RAPA demonstrated its innovative strength using more than 100 test criteria and received the seal in size class C, companies with more than 200 employees. In the scientific selection process, RAPA was particularly impressive in the “Innovation-Promoting Top Management” category.

2022

Since 1993, compamedia has been awarding the TOP 100 seal for special innovative strength and above-average innovation success to medium-sized companies. RAPA impressed as a think tank in the 2022 innovation competition and was awarded the TOP 100 seal. On June 24th, RAPA will be personally honored for these achievements by the competition’s mentor, science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar. This makes the technology and engineering partner with core competence in valve technology one of the TOP innovators. In the scientific selection process, more than 100 test criteria were examined.

RAPA was particularly convincing in the categories “Innovative Processes and Organization” and “Innovation-Promoting Top Management” with how innovations ensure continued existence and open up new markets throughout the company’s entire history, which now spans over 100 years. The award is a great team success, this success was only achieved together and therefore the praise goes to the entire RAPA family.

Talent-Partner

2021

For the seventh time, the Dual University awarded the Dualissimo Prize to the best graduates in dual studies. Sophie Kant, RAPA graduate of the dual degree program in business administration, was also honored among the 2021 award winners. This makes her one of the five best graduates of the dual study program in all of Bavaria. We congratulate and are happy with and for Sophie. But RAPA was also honored during the celebrations. RAPA received the “Talent Partner” award for its commitment as a corporate and practice partner to the award winner. The award is a wonderful recognition for RAPA as a training company. We are very proud of it.

The dual study program is an integral part of the training offering at RAPA. The combination of a classic apprenticeship with a bachelor’s degree is an invaluable opportunity for RAPA to train its own specialists and managers. It offers young, committed people brilliant career prospects. With Rapa at your side, the dual students are optimally prepared for their future jobs. You can choose from technical and commercial courses, including automotive mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science and industrial engineering. After successful completion, RAPA takes the graduates into permanent employment.

2019 – RAPA again among BAVARIA’S BEST 50 companies

Once a year, the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy presents the “Bavaria’s Best 50” award to innovative and high-growth companies. RAPA prevailed in the competition against several hundred companies and was one of the award winners again in 2019, after 2016 and 2013.

This award is a very special honor because it confirms for the third time in a row the successful path of long-termism, stability and, at the same time, a strong focus on opportunities. A special thank you goes to our employees, who have made a decisive contribution to this success with their proven expertise, personal commitment and great loyalty to RAPA. The award ceremony took place on July 22, 2019 in Schleissheim Castle, north of Munich.

Beste Jobs mit Zukunft

2017/2019

RAPA again receives quality seal from Focus Money. For many employees, a future-proof job is one of the main criteria when choosing the right employer. RAPA was able to secure the “Germany’s Best Jobs with a Future” award for the second time and thus fulfill this important criterion. The quality seal recognizes companies that, due to their economic stability, create particularly secure jobs for employees and thus enable a predictable future.
The award is presented by Deutschland Test in collaboration with the business magazine Focus Money and Prof. Dr. Werner Sarges from the Helmut Schmidt University in Hamburg.

DEUTSCHLANDS INNOVATIONSFÜHRER – Unternehmen mit Zukunft

2019

The F.A.Z. Institute, a subsidiary of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, awards RAPA the seal of “Germany’s Innovation Leader”. The study “Germany’s Innovation Leader” was carried out by Prognos on behalf of the F.A.Z. Institute in cooperation with the IMWF Institute for Management and Economic Research. The decisive factor is innovative strength and leadership, which are measured differently. »Nowadays everyone has to be innovative. And every company claims this about itself: We are therefore pleased that RAPA can count itself among “Germany’s innovation leaders”, which is also objectively confirmed by a research institute and by valid criteria,” said Karin Wolf, RAPA management.

DEUTSCHLANDS UNTERNEHMEN MIT ZUKUNFT

2019

The stern magazine presents the study results “Germany’s companies with a future” in its issue 39 from September 19, 2019. The four categories examined were entrepreneurial focus, demographic management, digital transformation and employer profile. A total of 162 companies of all sizes took part in the study. RAPA achieved four out of five stars in the medium-sized companies category and is therefore one of the 109 best companies!

ENTREPENEUR OF THE YEAR – Finalist

RAPA is one of the finalists in the “Entrepreneur Of The Year 2018” competition.
The “Entrepreneur Of The Year” is one of the world’s most prestigious awards for entrepreneurs. For over 30 years, EY has been honoring selected entrepreneurs in 60 countries for special achievements. The jury’s assessment criteria include growth, future potential, innovation, employee leadership and social responsibility.
The prizes are awarded in the categories of industry, services and IT, consumer goods and retail, digital transformation and young companies. Furthermore, an exemplary family business and an entrepreneurial personality are honored for special social commitment.

TOP 1000 FAMILIENUNTERNEHMEN

2016

RAPA recognized as one of the “Top 1000 Family Businesses” in Germany. This was the result of a study by the entrepreneurial platform “The German Economy” in the summer of 2016.
As the entrepreneur platform reports, over 4,000 company contacts and months of research have led to the compendium about German family businesses. The study is based on sales figures from the 2015 financial year. In the ranking, the editorial team took into account companies that are at least 50 percent family-owned. The impressive figures also demonstrate the great importance of family businesses for the German economy. The “Top 1000” generate around 1.67 trillion euros in sales and create over seven million jobs at home and abroad.

Daimler Innovation Award

2019

As part of the 11th Daimler AG awards ceremony on February 20, 2019, RAPA received the “Daimler Supplier Award Innovation” for the development of the motor-pump unit, whose sophisticated and intelligent control generates pressures individually in each shock absorber. Can be experienced in the new Mercedes-Benz GLE as E-ACTIVE BODY CONTROL suspension. The aluminum trophy, which weighs almost two kilos, was presented to Dr. Ola Källenius, Board Member of Daimler AG for Corporate Research and Mercedes Benz. Roman Pausch presented.

FCA Outstanding Quality Supplier

2019

RAPA LP receives the Outstanding Quality Award from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA).
The award recognizes top suppliers whose North American manufacturing facility had a 100 percent guarantee and quality ratings for incoming materials. The FCA Outstanding Quality Supplier Award was presented for the 2018 calendar year and was based on a series of demanding performance metrics, particularly in relation to the company’s quality, guarantee, delivery and processes, which demonstrate FCA’s unwavering commitment to quality and passion for delivering the best products describes his customers. RAPA received this award in recognition of the outstanding quality, delivery and service it has provided as a supplier to global vehicle manufacturer Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and its powertrain plants in Kokomo, IN.

Jaguar Land Rover Quality Award

RAPA has received the “Jaguar Land Rover Quality Award” from the British automobile manufacturer, which recognizes the performance of those suppliers who meet the high requirements for quality as well as development and project performance. “The JLRQ Award is an important milestone in achieving continuous improvement and meeting our demands for premium quality in the long term,” says Andy Whyman, Chassis Director Jaguar Land Rover. This challenge is taken up by Dr. Roman Pausch, Managing Director of RAPA, is happy to say: “The quality award is an incentive for us to maintain and further improve this level of performance. We will continually critically examine our products and processes and look for potential for optimization in order to provide our customers with the best possible support in achieving their goals.«

ZF Supplier Award

2013

For the sixth time, ZF Friedrichshafen AG is honoring the group’s best and most efficient suppliers with the “ZF Supplier Award”. RAPA was honored in the production material category because, among other things, RAPA produces solenoid valves for ZF’s nine-speed automatic transmission. Horst Wiedmann, Head of Materials Management in the ZF Group, praised the winners’ achievements as “a decisive factor in ZF’s product quality and competitiveness.” The ZF Supplier Awards were presented as part of the “Materials Management Symposium” organized by ZF.

Continental Supplier Of The Year 2011 – Award

2012

The Automotive Group of the automotive supplier Continental has honored 14 of its suppliers with the Automotive “Supplier of the Year 2011” Award. The awards were presented on the occasion of Supplier Day in Berlin by Continental’s CEO, Dr. Elmar Degenhart presented it. RAPA was one of the award winners in the field of electromechanics (mechatronic inductors).

Daimler Supplier Award

2010

Daimler AG honored the best suppliers for their performance with the Daimler Supplier Award 2010 at its annual supplier conference, the Daimler Key Supplier Meeting, at the Mercedes-Benz branch in Stuttgart. As in previous years, awards were given to 13 supplier partners in various categories. In addition, outstanding achievements in the area of innovation were once again recognized with a special prize. With the “Daimler Supplier Award” the company honors performance that is far above average, which is determined on the basis of a globally uniform evaluation system. The basis for this assessment is defined in the Daimler Supplier Network supplier cooperation model and includes the four value drivers of quality, costs, delivery reliability as well as technology and innovation. When working with suppliers, the values of fairness, reliability and credibility are also given priority. RAPA was one of the winners in the chassis area.
