ASSEMBLER – 3RD SHIFT

This position is located at our site in Auburn, Alabama. We are looking for an

Assembler – 3rd Shift (m/f/d)


Your Task and Responsibilities

  • Performs machine operations to support the assembly of parts following posted work instructions
  • Responsible to ensure accuracy of their own work according to work instructions and monitor the quality of the product
  • Detects and reports defective and/or questionable product conditions to the department supervisor
  • Detects and reports any unsafe conditions to the department supervisor and/or Environmental, Health & Safety Leader
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
  • Responsible for workplace safety and adhere to all plant safety rules
  • Work with others in the team to maximize efficiency and reduce scrap/downtime on the production line
  • Other duties may be assigned for example but not limited to scrap breakdown/disposal, repacking and 5s (organization)
  • Over time as required
  • All other duties as assigned

Your Profile

  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Effective communication, written and verbal skills
  • Regular and Predictable attendance
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
  • Good reasoning abilities and sound judgment
  • Stand and work on a production floor for extended periods of time in a factory setting
  • Visually inspect products, work stations, colored operating and warning lights
  • Hear approaching production floor forklifts and warning alarms
  • Safely walk across production floors with uneven surfaces or other obstructions
  • Fine hand manipulation required to pick up parts and equipment as required for a particular production or inspection operation
