The mechatronics technician is a mechanic, electronics technician and computer scientist all rolled into one. This shows how diverse this profession is. During your apprenticeship, you will assemble mechanical, electrical and electronic components into a complex system and program the control software. And what if something breaks? No problem – regular maintenance and servicing is also your responsibility.

As a mechatronics technician, all doors are open to you after your training, as the combination of mechatronics, electronics and IT means that you will be in high demand. There are many ways to advance your career through further training. One option is further training to become an industrial foreman or technician. It is also possible to study so that you can work as an engineer in the future. Your trainers will be happy to advise you individually and help you find the perfect path after your apprenticeship.
