Your tasks
- Supplier selection and qualification
- Responsibility for supplier development
- Implementation of product and process audits, monitoring of two-day production
- Acceptance of initial samples, monitoring of target dates in the product development process
- Responsibility for the suppliers of commodity stamped and formed parts
- Escalation and crisis management
- Implementation of our quality and process requirements at the supplier
- Reporting of key figures and monitoring of improvement programs
Your profile
- Successfully completed studies (Diploma, Bachelor or Master) in the fields of industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, quality management, plastics technology or comparable technical training
- Relevant, several years of professional experience in the automotive sector, especially in quality and supplier management
- Mastery of the quality standards IATF16949, ISO 26262, VDA as well as knowledge of the quality techniques APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA etc.
- Experience in project management
- Knowledge of functional safety and Design for Six Sigma an advantage
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- Willingness to travel
- Motivation and moderation skills
