Thesis (m/f/d) Pre-development – Development of a technical concept for hydraulic lines

RAPA stands for the continuous further development and qualification of existing products and the design of new ones. In the area of pre-development, there is a need to develop RAP-specific hydraulic lines. The pipes consist of interconnected rigid pipe sections and flexible pressure hoses. In particular, the modeling of the cable assembly in CAD and the detailed design of the connection technology between the cable segments is an exciting topic for a committed student (m/f/d) within our pre-development department.

Your tasks

Familiarization with the “Creo Parametric” software and the modeling of lines as well as the typical market structure of hydraulic lines
Determining the requirements for the cables needed for RAPA
Development of a RAPA-specific solution for cable assemblies
Design of a sample cable assembly, procurement of test parts and familiarization with the associated assembly processes
Creation of associated assembly instructions
Setting up test samples and carrying out tests in the RAPA process laboratory
Creation of a test plan and support

Your profile

Degree in mechanical engineering, design, mechatronics, precision engineering or a comparable course of study
(Basic) knowledge of CAD
Independent, structured way of working and a high degree of team spirit
Good language skills in German and English
